In February, Brynlee was baptized as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am not a shopper, so it was a different experience for me to take her to multiple stores until she found the "perfect" dress with twirl factor. She absolutely loved that it had flowers on the bottom and resembled Belle's dress from the Disney cartoon "Beauty and the Beast." On the day of her baptism, she wanted me to do her hair like Belle so her hair could coordinate with her dress.

Out of respect for the sacred nature of the ordinance of baptism, you are not supposed to take pictures of the baptism itself. But I couldn't help but capture this sweet moment between Troy and Brynlee as he helped her walk down into the font moments before her baptism.
We are so grateful to all who came out to support Brynlee in her decision.
